
Claire Lomas MBE
Former event horse rider, Claire Lomas became paraplegic in 2007 as the result of a freak riding accident. She has since become one of the most inspirational sports personalities, having made worldwide headlines when she walked the London Marathon in 2012 using a robotic suit (taking 17 days). She has now raised over £825,000 for charity through various challenges, rides motorbikes on track days, and has recently qualified a pilot as well as being a mum to two girls.

Claire is going to share her story of triumph over adversity. She will delve into the darkest days following a horse-riding accident which left her paralysed from the chest down and shattered all her dreams and goals. She will tell us how she battled through these moments to go on to achieving the unimaginable.
