Omniwomen is a global Omnicom-wide initiative, with a mission to serve as a catalyst for increasing the influence and number of women leaders throughout the network.
An annual programme of initiatives brings together employees who identify as women and their allies, in an open and supportive environment for networking and learning.
Omniwomen’s interactive and engaging events provide the opportunity for participants at all stages on their employee journey to build skills and hear from inspiring experts, both from within and outside the business, while various leadership focused platforms enable senior women to exchange ideas and share experiences with their peers.
Omniwomen is represented globally, with over 10,000 members across 24 chapters worldwide including the UK, with a growing community committed to equity promoting behaviours, attitudes and decisions for gender parity and leadership opportunity now and in the long term.
2013 – Janet Riccio sets out to launch Omniwomen Global
2014 – Janet invites Cilla Snowball (Group Chair & CEO AMV BBDO) to become first Chair for our Omniwomen UK chapter
2014/15 – UK committee is formed and we deliver the first summit 2019 Omniwomen in the UK expands to include Allies, representing our commitment to an intersectional approach
2021 – First fully remote Summit (including incredible goody bags for the full at home experience!) and Basecamps introduced to the UK
2022 – First hybrid Summit, featuring Harriet Minter, Claire Lomas, Sam Conniff, Afua Basoah, many incredible Omniwomen and more!
2023 – Launched our Basecamp podcast series…
2024 – We are celebrating our 10 Year anniversary and launching Omniwomen Connect, our regional networking events and OUKA Awards
